Mission-critical operations require seamless monitoring and communication.
For organizations tasked with mission-critical operations, assuring peak system performance and security is vital. Without them, system-wide downtime could occur, and the availability and responsiveness of your solutions might be negatively impacted. Efficient and cost-effective management of an ever-evolving technology
ecosystem is challenging, though, requiring the right people, processes and tools to help you be successful.
As agencies and other organizations adopt new technologies and modernization initiatives for productivity, cost-savings and to better serve their communities, many are looking for ways to effectively manage the resulting complexity. When combined with the increased risks of cyber attacks, constrained budgets and the mandate to update software and hardware systems, the need for managed and support services is more important than ever.
Simplify complexity Today’s mission-critical ecosystem is a set of sophisticated ITinterdependent technologies, with each component having its own unique level of technological requirements and lifespan. To avoid the potential of inefficiencies, complicated updates and multiple
points of failure, you should consider the differing management needs for your solutions. Gaining operational efficiency and increased visibility into an ever-evolving technology ecosystem requires an integrated approach to system management.
Accelerate performance Downtime can be caused by any number of issues, including cyber attacks, manual configuration problems and outdated software. Add in the possibility of physical threats from natural disasters and managing a secure system becomes an increasingly difficult task. Our Managed and Support Services teams can accelerate the performance of your mission-critical operations by working with your organization to develop a customized plan to increase system availability, resiliency and responsiveness.
Manage costs Securing the budget to hire and retain staff with the wide variation of skill sets to properly manage your solutions can be challenging and costly. Funding for large capital expenditure investments can also be difficult and time-consuming. Meanwhile, there’s a constant expectation to do more with less. We offer flexible procurement options to help you better leverage your existing budget, including OpEx with as-a-service solutions. Transitioning to a more predictable cost model can help you focus on the “do more” part of the equation.

Cut through the noise.
With loud audio, advanced noise suppression, clear status indications, and dedicated hardware controls, the MOTOTRBO R5 delivers reliable team communications, helping boost worker efficiency and safety. And with IP67 and MIL-STD-810 rating, the R5 is tough enough to survive everyday knocks and drops.
R5’s loud, clear audio helps the message get through the first time, whether conditions are noisy or
quiet.
Loud If workers can’t hear messages above noisy vehicles, a cheering crowd or heavy plant machinery, safety and efficiency can be compromised. R5’s powerful built-in speaker delivers loud audio so workers can hear messages above background noise and users can even select an extra-loud audio profile for up to 106 phons loudness in extremely noisy environments. A wide selection of headsets and earpieces is also available to allow workers to hear messages discreetly or in high-noise workplaces.
Clear R5 features a sophisticated AItrained noise suppression algorithm for advanced background noise reduction to help ensure messages are transmitted clearly. Software embedded
in the device distinguishes between the talker’s voice and the various types of surrounding noise such as vehicles, crowds and heavy machines; speech is retained while ambient noise is significantly reduced. The MOTOTRBO R5’s low distortion wideband speaker plays received messages loud and clear to help prevent miscommunication.
Consistent R5 is designed to optimize audio performance across a wide range of workplace environments and worker profiles so users don’t need to constantly adjust the radio volume. Its IMPRES™ technology and Received Audio Leveling smooth out the differences in users’ voice level and microphone placement. Intelligent Audio adjusts the radio output to avoid blaring messages or missed calls, adapting to changes in the background volume or as workers move between noisy and quiet
environments.

SSM Health continuously strives to provide exceptional clinical care while operating efficiently and helping to ensure the safety of employees, patients, and visitors at all times.
The safer hospitals technology ecosystem
After SSM Health Leadership began to evaluate and reassess its
security technology, the team concluded that its legacy video system, access control, and radio communications needed to be replaced with a modern technology solution. They evaluated a range of new systems, ultimately standardizing the Motorola Solutions safer hospitals technology ecosystem.
